Travel details- Rochester United

This Saturday (2nd April) we travel to Rede Court in Strood to take on Rochester United in the SCEFL. Never an easy journey for those without a car, this years trip will need a little extra travel time than normal due to engineering works. Details are listed below.

BY CAR

Take the A2 out of London, exiting at Junction 1 (as the A2 becomes the M2). Follow signposts for Strood and Rochester. At the end of the slip road, at the roundabout, take the second exit. Rede Court can be found on the left at the first of traffic lights (just before the petrol garage. The entrance to the ground is on the left.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

There are two options for those travelling by train. You can out of London from Victoria, although if you chose this route you’ll need to alight at Meopham at switch to the rail replacement bus (which will get you to Rochester) You will then need to either walk or catch a bus back across the Medway to Strood. Alternatively you can travel from St Pancras International on a Southeastern High Speed service to Strood. Please note if you chose to travel High Speed, we recommend the Super Off Peak day return as the cheapest option at £19 for the round trip.

Head for the High Street, then head West out of town up the hill (the A2 Watling Street), you should pass a BP garage on your left). Continue to follow the A2 to the top of the hill, Rede Court will be on the right just past a Texaco petrol garage.
